Itinerary:
Day 1: Hanoi - Sa Pa
|
Depart Hanoi for Sa Pa in Vietnam’s North Western mountains, a photographer’s paradise. After lunch in Yen Bai (approx. distance 160 km) visit the scenic ethnic villages of the “Black Dao” or the “Flower H’Mong”. Arrive Lao Cai in the late afternoon, enjoy the view over the Red River, the border to China. Leaving Lao Cai, your track leads you furthermore into the mountains, along picturesque terraced rice paddies and deep valleys, finally reaching SaPa, a former holiday destination highly appreciated by the French. Enjoy your fascinating excursion, especially during the afternoon, when the sunlight colours up the beautiful homes of the ethnic hill tribes. Transfer to the hotel. Day 2: Sa Pa
|
Enjoy your stroll through Sa Pa. Visit (nearly all sights are in walking distance) and explore the fantastic atmosphere of the colourful and inviting town. Visit Sa Pa Market, bursting with local colour and energy, where “Red Dao”, “Black H’Mong” and other ethnic minorities from the surrounding villages offer their art products like embroideries, leather goods, jewelry, traditional costumes and many other goods. In the afternoon, take your chance to find out more about the beautiful charm and unique scenery of the Sa Pa area. Overnight stay in SaPa, e.g Bamboo Sapa Hotel. |

Day 3: Sa Pa
Visit the ethnic minorities. Learn more about the daily life, the work and the specific cultures in villages like Cat Cat, Lao Chai or Ta Van.

Day 4: Sa Pa - Hanoi, end of journey
After breakfast return to Hanoi via Lao Cai and Yen Bai. Arrive Hanoi in the evening.
