Itinerary:

Part Vietnam: South Vietnam and Mekong Delta

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Meet and greet by your German speaking Vietnamese tour guide and transfer to your hotel. Guided city tour to visit the most important sights of Ho-Chi-Minh-City.

Overnight stay in Ho-Chi-Minh-City in a 4-star Hotel, e.g. Liberty Central Hotel.

Day 2: From Ho-Chi-Minh-City to Can Tho in Mekong Delta (160 km)

Full day tour to Can Tho. Stop in My Tho to take a boat ride to the typical tropical orchards in Mekong Delta. Try the local fresh fruit and Vietnamese tea and the local fresh fish specialty “Elephant Ear Fish”.After lunch, continue to Can Tho in the heart of Mekong Delta. Arrive in the late afternoon.

Overnight stay in Can Tho in a 4-Star-Hotel, e.g. Victoria Can Tho Resort.

Day 3: Can Tho - Chau Doc

Very early morning departure after breakfast to the floating market of Cai Rang near Can Tho. This market ist very vivid and most interesting during the morning hours. At lunch time, take the boat to Chau Doc. If time allows, visit a typical fishing village in Chau Doc.

Part Cambodia

Day 4: Boat cruise from Chau Doc to Phnom Penh

Enjoy the peaceful boat cruise, greet and meet by your English speaking Cambodian ToDeCo tour-guide at the pier.

Overnight stay in Phnom Penh in a 4-Star Hotel, e.g. Juliana Hotel.

Day 5: City-Tour Pnomh Penh

Your guided city tour takes you to the Royal National Museum, the Silver Pagoda and the local market in Pnomh Penh. Opportunity to do a bicycle-rickshaw ride (Cyclo-ride) in the most beautiful parts of town.

Day 6: Boat cruise Pnomh Penh - Siem Reap

Full day boat cruise from Phnom Penh toh Siem Reap, arrival in the late afternoon. Greet and meet by your English speaking Cambodian ToDeCo tour-guide at the pier.

Overnight stay in Siem Reap in a 3-Star Hotel, e.g. Ancient Angkor Hotel.

Day 7: Visit Angkor Wat

Full-day visit of the famous Khmer temple complex of Angkor Wat.

Part Laos

Day 9: Siem Reap- Luang Prabang

Transfer to the airport and flight from Siem Reap to Luang Prabang. Greet and meet by your German speaking Laotian ToDeCo tour-guide. Transfer to your hotel and guided tour in Luang Prabang. Visit Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Visounnarat , Wat Mai und and the Royal Palace. At sunset enjoy the view from Mount Phousi.

Day 10: Continue visit in Luang Prabang

Take a boat cruise to Pak Ou and visit the village of the weavers Ban Xang Khong.

Day 11: Luang Prabang - Xieng Khuang

Full-day tour by bus to Xieng Khuang (approx. 200 km) to visit the „Plain of Jars“.

Day 12: Xieng Khuang - Vang Vieng

After breakfast take a bus ride to Vang Vieng. On your way, visit the colourful villages of the ethnic minorities and the two caves in Vang Vieng.

Day 13: Vang Vieng - Vientiane - Hanoi

Morning departure for Vientiane with guided city tour in Vientiane and transfer to the airport for your late afternoon flight to Hanoi.

Part Vietnam: North- West /North- East and Middle- Vietnam including beach holiday

Day 14: Hanoi

Day 15: Hanoi -Sa Pa

Today’s full-day trip takes you through the beautiful mountainous scenery of North- West Vietnam to Sa Pa (approx. 350 km) including breaks for photos and relaxing.

Day 16: Sa Pa and surroundings

Full-day visit of Sa Pa, the beautiful mountain area and the minority villages.

Day 17:

Option 1: From Sa Pa to Hanoi (Overnight stay in Hanoi)

Day drive from Sa Pa to Hanoi with overnight stay in Hanoi. Next morning depart for Ha Long Bay cruise.

Option 2: From Sa Pa to Bac Ha (for intense nature experience)

Early morning departure from Sa Pa to Bac Ha during a scenic drive. On Sundays, visit the colourful local Sunday Market, where different ethnic minorities in their festive clothing meet to trade and to exchange the latest news. This market is the highlight of their week. At noon, people return to their villages. At lunch time depart Bac Ha in general direction for Hanoi.

Overnight stay in the small town Viet Tri in a guest-house. Next morning, continue direct to Ha Long instead of Hanoi. Arrival around 12.00 Uhr.

Day 18: Ha Long Bay cruise

Your ship departs at noon for an extended Ha Long Bay cruise and overnight stay on board of the ship. 

Day 19: Return to Hanoi and flight to Hue

Transfer from the ship to Hanoi Airport and evening flight to Hue.

Day 20: Sightseeing Hue

Day 29: Ho Chi Minh City and transfer to the Airport

Day at leisure till your transfer by ToDeCo for night- flight to Germany. End of journey.
