Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City

Meet and greet by your ToDeCo representative, transfer from the airport Tan Son Nhat to your 3- star hotel. Leisure time till dinner.

Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City in your 3-star hotel, e.g Liberty 3 Hotel.

Day 2: Stay in Ho Chi Minh City

Leisure time and individual planning of your day. (Your tour guide will happily provide you with useful information).

Day 3: Stay in Ho Chi Minh City with day-trip to Cu Chi

Full-day trip to Cu Chi and Tay Ninh (100 km). Visit the tunnel in Cu Chi and continue to see the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh. Lunch. Return to Ho Chi Minh City at night.

Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh City in your hotel, e.g Liberty 3 Hotel.

Day 4: From Ho Chi Minh City via My Tho to Can Tho in Mekong Delta (approx. 170 km south of HCMC).

On your trip into the Mekong Delta visit Vinh Tran Pagoda in My Tho, lunch. Arrive Can Tho in the evening.

Overnight stay in Can Tho in your 3-star hotel, e.g Ninh Kieu Hotel.

Day 5: Full day in Mekong Delta

After breakfast, opportunity to visit a floating market in Cai Rang, thereafter see the typical tropical orchards the Mekong Delta is famous for. Lunch, return to Can Tho in the late afternoon.

Day 6: Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City

After breakfast, follow your back along rice-paddies and fruit orchards. Lunch at My Tho. On your way to Ho Chi Minh City make a stop to visit the Chinese Quarters in Cho Lon. Leisure time in the evening.

Overnight stay again in Ho Chi Minh City in your 3-star hotel, e.g Liberty 3 Hotel.

Day 7: From Ho Chi Minh City to NhaTrang (450 km)

Full day trip to NhaTrang with breaks and foto stops.Opportunity for relaxing at the beach of Ca Na. Visit the historic Po Klong Cham Towers, a historic relic from the 15^th century.Linch.ArriveNhaTrang at night.

Day 8: NhaTrang 

Enjoy a day of leisure in NhaTrang. Your guide will provide you with tips for sightseeing etc.

Day 9: NhaTrang - Quy Nhon (300 km)

Full-day tour from NhaTrang to Qui Nhon. On your way visit the historic Po Nagar Towers. Lunch and viewing of a fish sauce plant.

Day 10: Quy Nhon to Hoi An (330 km)

Drive to Hoi An, on your see the Memorial of the My Lai massacre.

Day 11: Hoi An

Enjoy a day of leisure in Hoi An. Your guide will provide you with tips for sightseeing etc.

Day 12: Hoi An via Da Nang to Hue

Full day trip to Hue. Visit the Cham Museum in Da Nang, thereafter follow the spectacular route of the Ocean Cloud Pass. Make a stop at Lang Co Beach, lunch. Arrive Hue in the evening.

Day 13: Hue

Enjoy a boat-ride on the romantic Perfume River and visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the artful Emperor’s Grave of TuDuc. Lunch. Leisure time in the afternoon, your guide will provide you with tips for sightseeing etc.

Day 14: Hue- Hanoi (flight)

Morning tour to the impressive Royal Citadel, lunch.In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for your afternoon flight to Hanoi.Leisure time in Hanoi. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 15: Hanoi

After breakfast, guided city-tour. See the most important sites, e.g. the Ho Chi Minh Museum historic Ba Dinh Square and the Literature Temple, dating back from the 11^th century, lunch. In the afternoon take a cyclo- ride (bycicle-rickshaw) through the lovely old quarters of Hanoi. Finally visit the Water-puppets on stage. Leisure time in the evening.

Day 16: Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Mai Chau - Hoa Binh

After breakfast, morning car travel to NinhBinh, visit Vietnam’s capital of former timesVisit of Tam Coc Grotto during a sampan ride in “Dry Ha Long Bay”.Lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, continue via Mai Chau to HoaBinh (150 km). Leisure time in the evening.

Overnight as homestay in a stilthouse of a local Thai-family.

Day 17: Visit of Mai Chau and surroundings

Explore the beauty of the landscape around Mai Chau with its rice-fields and surrounding mountains. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi to catch the night train to Lao Cai for a visit of Sa Pa. Train departure at approx.19h30.

Overnight in your 4- bed soft-sleeper compartment.

Day 18: Sa Pa

Arrive Lao Cai early in the morning around 05h00. One-hour drive to Sa Pa,a former holiday destination highly appreciated by the French.Check- in at your hotel. In the morning, visit the near-by villages Lao Chai and Ta Van. In the afternoon, take a stroll to the village Cat Cat.

Day 19: Sa Pa and return to Hanoi

In the morning, visit the Ham Rong Mountain and the local market.In the afternoon, transfer from Sapa to Lao Cai to embark for the night train from Lao Cai to Hanoi.

Day 20: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay

Early morning arrival in Hanoi at around 05h00, breakfast in Hanoi. Leave the capital for Ha Long city. At noon, check -in for your afternoon excursion in Ha Long Bay by boat. Visit Sung Sot cave and enjoy lunch. Your boat takes you through a fascinating landscape of impressive limestone rock formations rising out of the waters, chance for swim. Dinner on board of the ship including fresh seafood.

Day 21: Ha Long Bay - Hanoi

Breakfast on board, cruise Ha Long Bay and visit ThienCung Grotto. Lunch with fresh seafood on board of the ship, thereafter return to Hanoi. Arrive in the late afternoon.

Day 22: Hanoi - transfer to the airport Noi Bai

Day at leisure until transfer to the airport Noi Bai. End of journey.
