                                                             Hue - Hoi An - My Son - Da Nang

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Hue

Arrival in Hue, the former Royal capital of Vietnam. Transfer by your ToDeCo guide from Hue Airport to your hotel. 

Overnight stay in a 3-star hotel in Hue, e.g. Alba Hotel.

Day 2: Hue

In the morning enjoy a boat-cruise on the romantic Pearl River. Visit the most popular Thien Mu Pagoda and the Emperor’s Grave of Minh Mang in the middle of a peaceful scenery of gardens and a lake. In the afternoon visit the Emperors’ graves of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh and the Royal Citadel, former seat of government of the Nguyen Dynasty, ruling from 1802 to 1945. Optional visits of one of the typical local private garden houses in Hue or the Dong Ba local market. Go local, visit a family and enjoy a home-made dinner in their home (option for groups up to 10 participants).

Day 3: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

After breakfast start your journey to Da Nang via the fishermen’s village of Lang Co and the scenic route of the Ocean Cloud Pass. Enjoy the stop in Da Nang to visit the beautiful Non Nuoc Beach and don’t miss the Cultural Museum of the Cham people with the largest collection of Cham sculptures. Your journey will also take you to the Marble Mountains and the Five Elements Mountains, where dozens of Buddhist sanctuaries are located. Arrive in Hoi An, transfer to your hotel. During the 16^th and 17^th centuries, Hoi An used to be an important commercial harbor in South East Asia. Across the years, the architecture and life style of the city remained unchanged, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the old city center. A walk in the old part of the town will lead you to the historic homes of the merchants, the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge and the colourful local market. 

Overnight stay in a 5-star hotel in Hoi An, e.g. the Palm Garden Resort located at the Cua Dai Beach. 

Day 4: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

After breakfast, take a half-day tour to see My Son, the former capital and center of the ancient Champa Kingdom. My Son is only 40 km in the south west of Hoi An, right in the middle of a green valley. Visit dozens of red brick towers and the sanctuaries of the temples, dating back to ancient times (7^th to 13^th centuries). Return to Hoi An. Free time in the afternoon. Take an optional stroll to visit the local picture galleries and the colourful silk shops. 

Another overnight stay in your 5-star hotel in Hoi An, e.g. the Palm Garden Resort located at the Cua Dai Beach.

Day 5: Transfer to Da Nang Airport 

Free time in the morning until transfer by ToDeCo to Da Nang Airport. End of journey.
